Stopped in for some lunch while visiting Vermont for the week. The food was AMAZING! and the service was great as well. We told our waitress that we were visiting the area and she told us some things we should check out! Will definitely go again the next time we go to Vermont!
Great food and drinks. Small place, make reservations of you can but worth going.

Hit this spot on my way home from vacation. Service is uber knowledgeable. Food is locally sourced, plated thoughtfully and fucking delicious. The bartender Melissa is a pro!
Karri the bar tender, waitress, Rutland advocate (and Roots owner???) was fantastic - the cocktails and food were creative and delicious, and the whole experience made us feel like #YourNewCousins! Don't miss this place when traveling to Vermont.

It was Saturday and the place had just finished breakfast service and three of the four of us came in. One of our party was running a little late and the kitchen was looking forward to closing (been there!) but they patiently and most graciously, front and back of house, waited on us in every sense of the word.
