Rockin Sushi! – Where do I begin... Ronin doubles as either the perfect date place or just somewhere laid-back to hang with friends. I can't tell which I like better: the food or the atmosphere? Had a real cool time – Went on a Monday and had a real cool time w/ a few people. The music was great as were the staff. Sushi was good and the sliders great. Its also a good place for a date, nice but not stuffy.
royal oak's new hot-spot! – i think i just found my new favorite hang-out! ronin is really great! just exactly what royal oak needed. great food, nice ambiance, cool staff--with great service and good music too. i've been a handfull of times since they opened in the summer. each visit is delightful. the sushi is the best in the area. Best sushi is town!! – When I heard there was a new sushi resturant that opened in Royal Oak it didn't take me long to get there since I'm a huge sushi fan!! So I thought I would go there on my next date! When we walked in I was totally taken back at the beautiful decor, there is no other place like it! Great service!!! Excellent specials! – Was visiting a friend in town and she highly recommended going here. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly greeted by the hostess. We were sat after our specified wait time. Server immediately approached us with a great attitude. We ordered the Latin yellowtail...fabulous!! Another item we loved was the Diver Scallops. Our server recommended the Kakucumber roll....very fresh and lots of flavors.. Will come in to town to eat and relax with friends again!
must eat here – On a recent trip visiting family in Royal Oak it was recommended we try Ronin. We did and had a fantastic time. The sushi was delicious, the service friendly and attentive and the atmosphere relaxed encouraging conversation. We didn't make it to dessert having filled up on potstickers, rolls and sushi but the choices all looked deliciously tempting. Next time we visit, Ronin is on our list of must-do's.
Amazing lounge..... – I went to Ronin for the first time 2 weeks ago and can't say enough good things! One of my best friends lives in Birmingham and said we MUST try Ronin based on all the good feedback she has heard. Keep it coming – Though Ronin has been around for over a year, it is still our favorite place to hang out. There have been some changes to the menu, but they have all been positive. The happy hour is a great continuing addition and a surprise to most since they offer it 7 days a week. The food is still very fresh offering new features every month. solid spot. – great new place! seems this concept will finally break the "curse" that the corner has suffered from since it was the metro music cafe years ago. great sushi..great food..great drinks..and amazing atmosphere... if sushi is not your thing, there are lots of other choices on the menu (best filet in the area...you dont even need a knife to eat it...honestly) the place is pretty damn dark, but all the candles give the lounge an amber glow that is super cozy....perfect date spot.
