Surowitz himself was seen 3 times in 10 years, but staff was sufficient. problem is his billing dept...he hired another medical company and they are the WORST in history. No human contact, won't call back no matter what message you leave., they just don't give a damn. Too bad, the doctor and staff at the office are good, the billing questions and referrals questions... they really suck.

Dr. Surowitz seemed really friendly at first. I went in for multiple strange problems. He scheduled me for about 11 bloodwork tests, x-rays, an echo and a thyroid ultrasound, but wouldn't tell me what he was testing for or why I needed many of these tests. I was wrongly diagnosed with a mitral valve prolapse, as my echo confirmed that I did not have. I was also told I had an enlarged thyroid (hence the thyroid ultrasound), but the ultrasound didn't show that either. All he seemed to care to treat me for was nonexistent back ... read more
