Very good food! Although we made reservations for 7:30 and didn't get seated until almost nine. It was worth the wait. The drinks were good and the food was even better. Our server and cook was really nice.
It was extremely smokey. Service was good. Food is better at the Chicago location, the food made me feel sick after.
We were there for a bday dinner for a friend. ThIs was my Husband and I first time there, it was superb! I love the restaurant atmosphere. The food was excellent, great chef, the bartender was on point with our drinks! (only problem was it was freezing inside....brrrrr. You need to turn up the heat after the meal is cooked and served.) ���� 1/2
To be honest there were 9 of us and we all agreed we should have gone to Hanakawa in Libertyville. Ron of Japans prices were way out there and the food was not great at all. Also there was no showmanship from the chef. At Hanakawa the price is right, the food and sauces fantastic, the showmanship of the chefs is so much fun�
