Sad to say, but I’m only giving 1 Star. While the restaurant decor was very appealing, the food and service was not. You could barely understand our chef and when you asked a question, he ignored it or spoken foreign language. There was no show whilst preparing the food. Vegetables were first, they were great big pieces and not cooked all the way through. Shrimp went on next with a small amount of egg sauce. The shrimp were very small and thin. I have been coming to Ron of Japan for 30+ years and it is truly a one of a kind restaurant! The food is impeccable and the staff is always so amazing. This is by far my favorite hibachi restaurant in the Chicagoland area., and to be honest it's my favorite restaurant in IL. I'm also obsessed with their egg sauce, it's a must to try! So delicious.
LOVE IT HERE! Its my daughters favorite resturant! She loves coming here for her birthday! The egg sauce is the best! And the fried rice is delicious! The super mai tai is yummy too! We will be back
