Dr Cohen started out a caring Dr for my parents. This past year he completely ignored my Mother and her needs for heart failure. He let her be bounced around the Aurora network with no help or direction leading to her death. Even though there is no cure, he could have helped by being her advocate instead of ignoring her and making her suffer. I am pulling our family from his practice and Aurora health care. They don't care about their patients only the bottom line and how much they can bill for.
Dr. Cohen is kind, takes his time and never rushes the appointment. He asks follow up questions, he is laid back and easy to discuss concerns with, I always feel that he really cares. These qualities can be very rare to find in a doctor these days. I recommend him to anyone looking for a primary doctor.
Took my partner in for her appointments and the doctor was very short and dismissive of previous long term health issues. He only talked about how little he would do and spent most of the appointment time making referrals to long distance specialists that also didn't do much. Finally saw his P. A. who actually was very nice and took care of most everything the doctor should have done.the first time instead of spending many months waiting on appointments and driving around the state going to the specialists.
