fabulous – the food is excellent , the lasagna is a great price , it comes with a salad and bread , the pizza is fab!! The cashier is as cute as she can be!
The best NY style in Houston, – The best I can say is that whenever I take friends to this place they always return on their own and thank me months later for introducing them to this place. These guys make the best pizza in Houston, and also some fantastic entrees, as good as any Italian restaurant in Houston. Their selection of top qualty ingredients really makes the difference. Great Food, Great Service, Great Value, and TONS of repeat customers; do I really need to say more?
I love this place – I'm not normally into greasy food but boy am I glad that I ate here. The food is that greasy, gooey, old world pizza that is infamous. I recommend it for groups of friends.
A slice of New York – Great Pizza, Great Pasta & Great Service. Frank and Vinny are great! Authentic Italian New york natives. The Shrimp Parmigiana is excellent, as well as, the Baked Ziti. Even the Spaghetti with Marinara has its own flare. But you must accompany everything with a slice of cheese pizza, it is like no other in Houston. Outside dining is nice at night or in the day for people watching! It's overall an excellent casual Italian restaurant and pizzeria!
Best Pizza in Houston – Best NY-style pizza in Houston. The salads are great, as are the pasta dishes. Get a big slice of cheese pizza and watch a game on ESPN. It's a cozy, friendly place that I return to again and again. I can't eat another other pizza since discovering Romano's.
Best Pizza – Coming from New York, this is the best pizza that Houston has to offer. My children were born and raised here in Houston and grew up eating Pizza Hut. When I took them there and told them this is what real pizza taste like, they don't want to eat any other pizza now, it's the BEST IN HOUSTON!!!!
Decent pizza – The pizza was ok, nothing out of the ordinary. The pastas looked a bit pricey for a casual joint.
If you're Italian... – You're going to love this place. Run by two cousins from Queens, NY, I found this to be a nice bit of home, with cooking that would make my Grandma happy. Molto bene! Abondanza!
BEST PIZZA IN HOUSTON – You want the best pizzza in Houston-you'll find it at Romano's! There's always some pasta dinner specials on the daily blackboard...try 'em! Two of my favorite dinners are the Chicken Marsala and good ol' Spaghetti with Meatballs. Romano's is a River Oaks favorite....get take out or enjoy very casual dining in their newly constructed "strip center" cafe. This place is popular for one reason---THE FOOD!!! You won't be disappointed!
