We’ve worked with Roman Mechanical on several projects. Their President, Carlos, is very knowledgeable in his trade and has been a key resource in navigating some challenging situations on-site. Their estimator, Eric, and his team have consistently been responsive and willing to help with pricing and material procurement as needed. Their support has been valuable in keeping things moving when timing matters.
Carlos Montes was subcontracted by our general contractor while doing renovations. Apparently our contractor did not want to pay Carlos for work he may have or may not have completed. Carlos then tried to extort money from us despite having no agreement with us. He threatened to put a lien on our home and sent us invoices with random amounts from various company letterheads including Roman Mechanical. I DO NOT recommend using any company that is at all involved with Carlos Montes as he is highly unethical
Had an appointment scheduled with Roman Mechanical for A/C system maintenance for May 5, 2022 between 8:45-11:45 a.m. They even confirmed the appointment with a follow-up email/calendar request, to which I responded "yes." On the morning of May 5, 2022, they never showed up for their service visit nor did they even take the time to call me and let me know they weren't coming. I'm writing this review 5 days after the scheduled appointment and, for the record, they still never responded.
