I moved from a larger city with more options and what I considered better care with private optometry practices. I found Dr. Roman after going to a couple other locations in Ocala Florida. I was reticent about the quality of care from a big box location for an Optometrist office. I am not an easy patient to fit for Contacts! Dr. Roman takes her time with patients and thoroughly covers any questions and gives honest informed guidance. I highly recommend her.
Dr. Roman found a serious medical condition of my optic nerves during my eye exam. She referred me to Shands eye specialist where her diagnosis was confirmed and treatment started. She is a competent and caring Optometrist.
My experience with Dr. Roman was amazing , she has a GREAT attitude, and is patient with even a very difficult contact fit. ( stigmatism in both eyes , farsighted and nearsighted LOL ) I would recommend her to anyone. I have never been to an eye Doctor is determined to get the best fit for her patient as much she does , I’ve been wearing glasses since I was 13 I am now 52 !
My husband first visited Dr. Roman and said he received the most thorough eye exam and consultation he has every had, and he has been wearing contacts/glasses for over 35 years! I did not want to admit that I needed to go get an eye exam but when I finally went to visit her I wish I hadn't waited so long. She is amazing- She is thorough, patient, and understanding. I felt like she really listened to my concerns and she explained things I had never been told before. I highly recommend Dr. Roman!!
