I have been a patient of Dr. Meinhold's for over 20 years. He is a very kind, concerned, and knowledgeable doctor who takes time to listen to his patient so he can help find a solution. He is available via phone after hours and never makes you feel bad if you have to call him late. I highly recommend him!
He has been my general physician for 26 years. I feel his care is even better since he turned over his larger practice to another physician and joined MVP. He's very personable, deeply concerned about my health and well being. My parents see him as well. He was able to diagnose a pre-ovarian cancer in myself ( confirmed by OB/GYN Oncology and surgery) and prostate cancer in my father that a urologist couldn't find by traditional exam but had to use lab tests and other means. I've had a few medical problems so wanted to have one physician instead of several. Dr. Meinhold has been able to sort out my problems and give me truly coordinated care. Now I'm doing much better and spend a lot less time and money on various physicians. He's been so good for me that I sent my brother to him to sort out his much more complicated problems. In 30 days he was dramatically better. I think Dr. Meinhold is unusually good at what he does.
He seems to be listening but if your opinion of what is happening; he ignores your answers When he gets agitated he taps his foot and this makes you know he is not interested He gives you container for skin parasites or problems and ignores then main issues He does not investigate for the money you pay for extra help! If he thinks you are making something up; he does not address it; he just assumes you are lying. He does not follow thru with important facts concerning your health.
Excellent! Dr. Meinhold has been my Primary Care Physician for many years, so I leave this 5 star rating with exceptional confidence. He has answered so many after hours calls, scheduled same day appointments, and contacted other doctors to coordinate care. He is dedicated to serving patients with the highest professional care possible. His staff is excellent in every encounter.
