Very professional and great to deal with.
Dr Malik is in Gastrohealth/Trussville and he, as well as his partners and his nurse practitioner set and achieve a high bar for compassion. I felt well cared for. I was also so pleased with how thorough and diligent he was. His skills with colonoscopy are evident. As a bonus, he is prompt and communicates well. As a retired physician, I could not be more pleased.
Jackie the lady at the front desk was rude and asked why I wanted a second. Opinion. The doctor refused to approve me to get a second opinion . Told me he would not approve a referral so I could get a second opinion and my dad died of cancer due to a misdiagnosis. I was told he could treat me there and that I didn’t need to go anywhere’ else . I am contacting the AMA.
I asked for a second opinion, Bc my dad died of cancer at a young age due to a misdiagnosis. The Dr. refused and told me he could treat me . The nurse Jackie asked me why I wanted a 2nd opinion and was rude and mean. And the Dr. said no . And started to argue w me about me wanting a 2nd opinion . Contacting the AMA. Do not go to this DR.
Dr.Malik,saved my life,Excellent bedside matters,he explains your condition in details,he cares about your health and well being,he very very passionate about his job,he will get to the problem that is concerning your Gastrointestinal, He is a very Good doctor,he tells the truth about your health,he loves his patients,The staff/nurses are caring people,they are patience with you,I wouldn't change anything about the this practice..... There is no better gastroenterologist in Birmingham. He is persistent, caring, and extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend him.
Dr. Malik will stick with you until he finds out your problem. Never hesitates to call on other specialists. Is very kind, knowledgeable and patient. He saved my daughter's life when other doctor's found nothing wrong with her.
