I had planned on waiting and waiting, but they got my dad in and out at the cancer center. The drove to pre-op that went pretty quickly too!
We started out at cancer hematology of west mi they gave us no hope where the u of m is not going to stop fighting the fight until we can't fight any more ..oxana rusher has a back up plan for the back up plan from a to z
I just started my chemo treatments 2 months ago. This place is the best with the best Drs and staff. Everyone is so helpful. When you walk in the doors they know who I am right away. Dr cobain is the best so understanding and her nurses remember everything down to small conversations we had. The blood drawers aka my vampires Joy who walked me through my first port. I was so scared she made me feel like I could do it. Thank you Joy. When Joy is not there it is Jena. Thank you U of M you are the best.
They were great at first up to the surgery, radiation, chemo and surgery was great. All the problems started just before the surgery. They spent 45 minutes trying to do an epidural and when they hit some nerves and I jumped I was yelled at. They couldn't do the surgery then because I lost feeling in one leg so they put me in a room for the night. They never told my family that was waiting for me. I couldn't ask for a better place! Dr. Junck and Jessica Eikmeier are perfect! Yesterday was great, and now I am in 2nd year of remission. So AWESOME! Kicking Cancers A**!!! GO!GO!GO!
Dr. Kal & his staff are amazing! Everyone that works there are so helpful, nice & caring. I wouldn't want my Mom going anywhere else.
The care is the best. Not only do they have the best medical team on your side, they care about me. I'm always treated as a king when I need to visit. And the results speak for themselves.... from stage 4 cancer to no evidence of disease after the care and treatments they recommended.
