Everyone that works there is very professional and kind. I have been going there for 3 yrs now and not one day have I ran into a mean or rude person. Keep up the great work U OF M!!!
I have to say I am very disappointed in U of M cancer center. My father was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer 3 weeks ago and they are dragging their feet with treatments. I feel like they are just milking his insurance for all the tests they are doing that aren't even necessary. I'm giving it a 2 because I have to say all the nurses and staff who answer the phones and what not are extremely helpful. Particularly Radiation Oncology are dragging this out the most. Loving anything about Cancer is hard University of Michigan Cancer Center makes a big difference in how you feeling. They treat your cancer as well as your soul. Great experience every time.
My problem was first discovered during a routine dental exam by William E Mason DDS. He found a small spot in the back of my mouth under the tongue. After testing it was found to be cancerious,that was five years ago. After much discussion surgery was suggested at U M. Four years ago the surgery was performed at U M. To my amazement no chemo or radiation was needed. I couldn't have been in better hands as Dr. Joseph I Helman preformed the surgery.
