Dr. Gold was doing my regular cleanings for years. Then, he told me I needed to have a back molor re-filled. He said it looked like the filling was cracked, and should be done again. I told him that I didn't want any more amalgam in my mouth, but he assured me that it was safe. He removed the old filling and then proceded to re-fill the tooth with silver amalgam.
