I have had many fillings and 1 root canal. My wife is also a patient and is very satisfied. Our insurance does cover most of our costs currently, but that was not always the case. Before our current insurance, our expenses were about 70 dollars per cleaning, done twice a year. Appointments are easy to schedule or reschedule.
This is a very busy office, and my experience is the dental care is too perfunctory.
My family has been a long time patient of Dr. Gold. Handles all the insurance claims and he is very pleasant. Friendly and accurate with the services he has performed.
I had considerable work done by Dr. Gold over almost a one year period. I spent more than $15,000, paid in cash. In all, about 20 teeth were crowned. It was a difficult case, to be fair, but many problems arose that I feel were partially caused simply by Dr. Gold just not taking enough time to analyze what needed to be done. Dr Gold is always friendly and polite. The hygienists do a good job as well.
I have been going to Dr. Gold for over 15 years now and I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. R. Gold to my friends or family members. I have never had to wait over 5 minutes in the waiting room. Hes thorough, gentle and always explains the procedure before proceeding. I have to think some user giving him a bad review were not asking the right questions or asserting themselves as is often times the case with Patient/Doctor communications.
I went in to check out the office and staff only to find that the place was dirty...! Dirty chairs, ect.. Well, I decided not to have any work done there.. And to think when I moved to AZ my regular dentist back home referred me to him.
Loved my hygenist. Good gentile treatment and customer service skills. Nice newly remodeled facility with up to date technology. Had a very bad experience with a filling that was drilled too deep. I've had several fillings in my life, so I have a good relative perspective. On a separate occasion, I was advised that I needed a root canal because of a cracked molar. A great dentist and very honest. His hygenist said I might need four fillings and he said I only needed one.He is always gentle caring kind sensitive and a credit to his profession.
