we go there ALOT we come to Spokane for Drs. appointments and we stay there under my boyfriend's name Orlando Delgado. I toilet was plugged said 7:30 they would send someone down 8 came around no one finally at 8:45 they fixed it we checked out at 9. I couldn't have breakfast cause they only put 1 person in the room even though the lady that checked us in handed me menus I could order food go be delivered. so no breakfast. I have taken advantage of a couple of the amazing packages at the Gaia over the years. I was a huge fan. The restaurant is wonderful and the deals are amazing. We booked a room online for a current package, to get a night away and reconnect away from the kids and were turned away. They decided recently that locals cannot stay at their hotel and I am extremely disappointed. We were looking forward to a nice evening and a good meal and had booked a room with a lagoon view and were told that they would not honor my reservation.... read more

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED with the way my cousin was treated while TRYING to stay in this hotel ON HER WEDDING NIGHT. I wish I could review the stay BUT SHE NEVER GOT TO STAY THERE. My aunt booked a room as a wedding night gift for her daughter, when my cousin arrived late at night she was turned away. The room was fully booked and paid for and she was LITERALLY turned away at 3 am because the INCOMPETENT staff couldn’t be bothered to call a manager to verify the reservation. We thank you for your feedback and have looked into the situation that occurred on Saturday night. While we cannot go into too much detail, much of what you write is not accurate, as this has been discussed with the person who made the reservation. We can tell you that we did all we could to accommodate the bride and groom, and a manager was contacted at 3 am due to a challenge that arose during check-in, and our staff tried their best to help remedy this with the guest. I was a little apprehensive because last time I stay here was about 5 years ago (under a different name) and it was an absolute s**t hole that I vowed I would never go back to. OMG- we are so glad we went and will be back! Upon check in the guy (not sure if he was the owner or manager) checked us in and actually escorted us to the hotel room - what a nice touch!
