Rockwel Reality was recommended to me by a friend, and I can say that their service lived up to their reputation. The apartments, I looked at, were well-maintained and cared for. Great Landlords – I have rented from three different agencies in Pittsburgh, and Rockwel Realty is by far the best. They were professional, fair, and understanding. I moved in mid-month and they prorated the first month's rent. Every time I had a maintenance request, It was dealt with immediately. They were involved with the building, but not invasively so, and it was very well maintained. Great Landlord. Excellent Rental. – I had a similar experience to an above reviewer where I had a single day to visit apartments in Pittsburgh and sign a lease. Although I had not scheduled an appointment with Rockwel, they were able to meet me at their building within 45 minutes. I ended up signing a lease and living a year in their building on 5th Avenue in Shadyside. Awesome place to be – My stay here at Pittsburgh has been a piece of cake and enjoyable thanks to the efforts of rockwel realty. With the ever growing network and ease of access it was really convenient for me to find a place and get all settled. The turnaround time for any grievance, be it plumbing or electrical was instantaneous. We did not require any cleaning to be done in the apartment as it was spic and span by the time we moved in. Great for Students – My experience as a student here has been very good. The apartments are very clean, spacious, affordable and very well ventilated. The surroundings are peaceful and the building is very conveniently located close to the universities, grocery stores, hospitals and happening places like Walnut St. The landlord is soft spoken and a very nice guy. Any problems in the apartment are quickly addressed and you feel like home.

highly recommend – My husband and I have been renting from Rockwel Realty for a year now and we love our apartment. We are in the heart of Shadyside and are given one off-street parking space with our apartment. We had one day to come down to Pittsburgh to find an apartment, and we looked at about 20 from a variety of renters. Great Apartment locations and Great Service – I have rented from Rockwel Realty for 2 years and it was the best experience I have had with a landlord. They are very respectful and are willing to help you out with any issues. My dishwasher was leaking for a while and they came in in a timely fashion and fixed it right up. They also DID inform me everytime they entered and left my apartment (be that for showing it to new tenants or fixing anything that came up). Poor customer service. Avoid this landlord at all costs – Poor service that leaves tenants to fight mildew on their own. When asked to repair something, Rockwel Realty will do it on their terms and refuse to give you notice of when they will enter your apartment despite multiple requests. When asked to clean mildew, they did in fact clean it with bleach while also spilling bleach on my sheets and ruining them.
