Just Married We just got married here February 5, 2011. This place was the first place we looked at and the one reason we went with them was because they do everything for you along with the packages they have for you to choose from. There were several things included in our package that we did not have to worry about purchasing. Show up to the meetings and know what you want and you will get it. Construction Review I would like to take a moment and thank everyone who made the effort to view the chapel in the month of January 2011. 11-11-11 Bride I think RWC has made some changes since the brides above have had their ceremonies. I booked for $1000 down (so their deposit went up) they have changed their bakery and florist has been changed so I ended up with a quote that was 600 less then initially planned (which is good). Perfect Wedding I fell in love with the Rockwall Wedding Chapel the first time I saw it. I planned my daughter's wedding as she is in the Navy. The chapel itself is very quaint and perfect for a smaller gathering. The groomsmen and bridesmaids came down the isle together before the bride and I loved the way they came from side entrances & joined in the middle to walk down the isle. just get everything written down when you are sitting in the office being told what's what, write it all down; we were not told some things until late in the planning and we had to make some adjustments to the reception for one; Be careful about getting the flowers in the package; too expensive for what you get; go elsewhere for flowers; street construction and lack of parking hard for elderly guests;
September Wedding My fiance, who is male went all by himself for the consultation because I had to work. It went wonderful, every question we asked Wanda had the answer we were looking or was willing to work it out somehow. Although our wedding isn't until September, so far things have fun very smoothly. I'll put an updated review when it is all said and done with.
Whose Wedding is this Anyway? Negatives: For starters, inadequate parking and a smaller chapel than advertised--seriously find it hard to believe that over 100 people could cram in there comfortably. In addition, we were constantly told, "That might make us look bad, or that would be too hard." Inflexibility and lack of compromise are the biggest hangups with this venue. The consultation was horrible! My fiance went there to check it out and get a feel for what "the big day" would be like. The people were unbearably rude and did not offer ANY suggestions. I was so upset about the lack of interest from the lady showing that i was in tears upon leaving. They are suppose to be there to create an image of the day and they made it seem like it was a burden on them! Over too soon!!! I recently got married at this totally adorable chapel! We put down our deposit of ONLY $500.00... duh... of course you have to put down a deposit! There was about 150 people who attended the wedding. The rehearsal the night before went smoothly, and the day of was great. These people really aim to please. The thing I appreciated the most was that they truly wanted to make my day perfect for me, and they learn from every wedding they have.
