Turner Weddding This is a review from someone who had their wedding at the Rockwall Wedding Chapel. The wedding was wonderful. One of the things that made us choose the chapel was them letting us make choices. We used their baker. The cake was fine. We did our own flowers and they let us. just get everything written down when you are sitting in the office being told what's what, write it all down; we were not told some things until late in the planning and we had to make some adjustments to the reception for one; Be careful about getting the flowers in the package; too expensive for what you get; go elsewhere for flowers; street construction and lack of parking hard for elderly guests;
The consultation was horrible! My fiance went there to check it out and get a feel for what "the big day" would be like. The people were unbearably rude and did not offer ANY suggestions. I was so upset about the lack of interest from the lady showing that i was in tears upon leaving. They are suppose to be there to create an image of the day and they made it seem like it was a burden on them! 11-11-11 Bride I think RWC has made some changes since the brides above have had their ceremonies. I booked for $1000 down (so their deposit went up) they have changed their bakery and florist has been changed so I ended up with a quote that was 600 less then initially planned (which is good). Best Day Ever! We got married June 23, 2012. It was the perfect day! It is so reasonably priced for everything they do! Linda and Iris are wonderful! Talk about an easy experience! The chapel and reception decorations were perfect! All of our friends and family are still commenting on everything. The food and cake were awesome! Just Married We just got married here February 5, 2011. This place was the first place we looked at and the one reason we went with them was because they do everything for you along with the packages they have for you to choose from. There were several things included in our package that we did not have to worry about purchasing. Show up to the meetings and know what you want and you will get it. Don't waste your money We booked our wedding here and put a deposit down. You have to give them $500 to reserve your date. When we went for the first meeting everything was not as perfect as I had hoped. The baker they force you to use is horrible, the cakes were nasty, the florist was not professional, she had more pets than flowers, the facility is in need of a piant job, and they put the bar outside in the parking lot. Whose Wedding is this Anyway? Negatives: For starters, inadequate parking and a smaller chapel than advertised--seriously find it hard to believe that over 100 people could cram in there comfortably. In addition, we were constantly told, "That might make us look bad, or that would be too hard." Inflexibility and lack of compromise are the biggest hangups with this venue. Horrible The worst experience of my life. They will tell you how bad other places are and that they are not like them. Then after you put your deposit down the the prices start going up. They will want you to go with their " people" but their " people" are horrible. The bakery is unfriendly and the florist waits to the last minutes to order flower and then tell you that you have to change flowers and she picks some ugly replacements( which you can't see until the wedding day).
