Great time, every time.... – Two weekends ago, my friend took me to brunch at Rocking Horse. We sat at the front outdoor patio, and had a great time watching Chelsea cruise by. I have a crush on the Bartendar!! – Dinner at The Rocking Horse Cafe was a perfect end to a day in the city. I began my Rocking Horse experience with sweet corn tamales topped with shrimp, chipotle butter and avocado. Not only did this appetizer come out well presented, wrapped in cornhusks, it was also delicious. With a Hot Latin Vibe... – Colorful, inventive food, and festive drinks to match. Not el restaurante Mexicano de su padre – Really an exceptional place that's almost hiding under the scaffolding outside. But the multi-colored logo outside sets you up for the bright and happy atmosphere inside. The best part? The food: Scottish salmon, crunchy caramelized onions, smoked trout, exquisite guacamole, organic beef ? it's all good.
RHC Really Rocks – OMG - went the other night and had their scallop special. Amazing! Fresh crispy sea scallops over the best lemon risotto I ever had. Asparagus and mushrooms accompanied it. I told my waiter that this should be on the menu every night - as I'd order it again and again. Great fresh tasting chips and salsa. Killer margaritas. A definite keeper.
great vibe – Margaritas are excellent - and not a rip off like most places! Fun place to go to in Chelsea with great food. Best app was the Quesadilla De Hongos. The Bistec En Recado was great but you must love garlic. I woudl defintiely go again with friends....the front section is a little loud but very festive - thankfully they have a back area with tables that is conducive to conversation.

Fun atmosphere, great upscale Mexican and adult size margaritas. – It always looks like something special is going on because it's busier than all the other restaurants on 8th Ave, Chelsea. But not too busy to get a table or a spot at the bar. Adult size margaritas and excellent food that's healthy and never a dissappointment. Good size portions too!
