Can never get an appointment in a reasonable amount of time. I've been calling for days and nobody answers the phone. Wouldn't expect anything less from the V.A..
I have watched my husband become more and more frustrated at the nonsense at this clinic. The receptionist will make an appointment for his COPD/bronchitis and then the RN tells us to drive 70 miles to Columbia or go pay for an emergency visit. Wait...why was I scheduled? The nurse told us he needed an ex ray (lie) and that she doesn't even have sterile gloves, (there was a box on the wall behind her) so she can't treat him.
