Super smooth and quick service. Everything was done perfectly.
I chose this sandwich because it looked heavier than the sad wraps and preboxed salads beside it. Heavier, yes — but in the way a brick is heavy, not in the way food should be. The bread was both stale and wet, somehow collapsing like drywall left in the rain. My recent visit to Rock & Brews in LAX Terminal 5 left me with mixed feelings, as the dining experience fell short of expectations, particularly given the price point and the airport setting. Upon arrival, we were promptly seated and directed to a QR code for ordering. This "self-service" model, which was only noted on a small sign by the water station that I found halfway through the meal, meant there was no opportunity to ask staff for recommendations or clarification on menu items. Better prices than the beanery and gratuity is actually earned. They have all drinks on tap. Better food.
I would have received better service going to the Chick-fil-A. Charging $36+ for a mediocre meal and soda with no service should be criminal. The server just dropped the food off without a word, and didn’t check on us once. We didn't have a QR code on our table and it took a while for me to find one so that I could place an order.
