While I remain optimistic about Rochester I want to see a reality check every now and again...by setting such high expectations it's easier to disappoint...Rochester has been like the tides of an ocean for many decades now with the exception of the Rochester Opera House and a handful of businesses that employ more than 100 people...it will take time to reach milestones and along the way there will be setbacks...I can also say that there are very, very good people trying their very best to make Rochester the best place it can... read more
I wish the leaders in Rochester would do what's right for the taxpayers and stop wasting time and money on things like a bicycle rental program. I've lived here my whole life. I went to school at school Street School, Rochester Middle School and then to Spaulding. All my friends are here, although most of them are neck-deep in addiction or are dead. I don't feel the drug epidemic is Rochester s fault, but it's really sad to see Rochester the way it is today. Although I loved it and may never leave. Rochester is my home, and I pray for those who are suffering.
Since we have a drought going on I was wondering why a fire hydrant was wide open and water pouring out of it in front on New England Pizza????
