I would just say it would have been nice to know she wasn't a general practicing psychiatrist like advertised on not only Google but also on the UPMC website when you are looking for an adult psychiatrist. I went through the process of getting in touch or at least trying to through the UPMC app and when her office finally returned my call the receptionist informed me she only sees cancer patients and proceeded to educate me on the difference between a psychologist and psychiatrist like I was illiterate on the difference betw... read more
She is the best psychiatrist that I have ever had. She has helped me immensely. I hope everyone finds a psychiatrist a good and as patient as Dr. Valpey.
