About this business

Dr. Robertson usually enters the room with a fist-bump or high five with children and a cordial conversation with adults. He will usually ask about your job or family to try to get to know you. He has a "no-nonsense" approach to ENT problems and will be very candid that many don't have a known cause or cure. For example, we can't make ears stop ringing after decades of noise damage. We can't turn a magic faucet to make noses drip less but we can prescribe medication that helps. We can't always explain why a cough or throat t... read more

I first met with Dr Robertson about a concern and after a test found out that I had a nodule on my thyroid. After another test I decided to have surgery which Dr. Robertson completed. All through my appts and surgery he was great, he has a great bedside manner and I felt he cared as much as I did. I would recommend Dr Robertson, he is professional, excellent at what he does and truly cares about his patients. If I ever need this type of care again I would definitely seek care from him. The office staff was also great, gettin... read more

I’ve had 2 surgeries with Dr. Robertson and I would absolutely recommend him. He was kind and straight-forward regarding my possible diagnosis. He gave me varying treatment options while being understanding and flexible regarding my concerns with treatment and always went the extra mile to provide a positive experience in a not-so-great situation. My recoveries were a breeze and had no complications with either of my surgeries. It’s also helpful that he sees patients here in Cheyenne, and has privileges at the surgery center... read more

I was referred to Dr. Robertson for primary hyperparathyroidism. Has a warm and caring demeanor. He took the steps necessary to confirm my diagnosis by ordering imaging of my throat and having me consult with an endocrinologist before suggesting surgery. When the imaging results showed a parathyroid adenoma, he explained each step of the process clearly and answered all of my questions. I felt comfortable with him as my surgeon, knowing that he has performed several parathyroidectomies. I would trust him again if I ever need... read more

Cancer of the tongue is a frightening diagnosis. I was referred to Dr. Robertson by Dr. Abbey because of a tongue lesion that was not healing. Dr. Robertson recommended a biopsy. The result was a carcinoma of the tongue. However, because of Dr. Robertson's skill, the entire cancer was removed with the biopsy. Despite this, Dr. Roberson referred me to a medical oncologist and a radiation oncologist. He at all times kept Dr. Abbey in the loop. The entire team felt no additional treatment was indicated, except for 3 months foll... read more

My experience could not have been more positive. Dr. Robertson seeks perfection, prepares fully, warns of the worst but brings about the best surgical result, however long it takes. I am so grateful that he was my surgeon (thyroidectomy) - he made a very ominous situation a total breeze, by diligence, preparation, and knowledge. I recommend him without reservation.

If you want a Ear Nose Throat Doctor that is very down to earth and will actually listen to you I 100% recommend Dr. Matthew Robertson. I have a long story that started back in 2013. I started having horrible throat pain with some trouble breathing. I went through 4 other ENT doctors over 5 years time he was the only one to hear my plea for help!! So we came up with a plan of surgical steps we could take to get me back to myself again. I am still on the journey of getting well, but just knowing that I have a doctor like him ... read more

After 18 years of using inhalers, Dr. Robertson found that I had webbing in my trachea that was severely restricting my breathing. I also had large nodules on my thyroid in the area where the webbing formed in my trachea. Dr. Robertson did the first surgery for freezing the webbing and opening up my trachea so I could breathe, and later removed half of my thyroid and the nodules, as well as a procedure to open up the trachea again where the webbing had grown back. He was persistent in finding the problem, and finding solutio... read more
