I had a fracture and a torn ligament in my left foot. I had 2 options: 1) surgery - causing trauma to my foot. The healing process would have been painful and long. 2) Dr. Yant suggested a procedure called PRP (platelet rich plasma injection) an office treatment. I am currently in the healing process. I tolerated the injection fairly well. After two days I did not require pain meds. I am happy that I chose this procedure and recommend it as an alternative to surgery.
I first visited Dr. Yant in such terrible pain, that I was barely able to walk. His knowledge and pursuit of up to date medical findings, has enabled me to regain my ability to walk without pain. I had 3 surgeries, including the PRP procedure , which was like a miracle. He is attentive and knowledgeable in his field and has an excellent support staff . They are kind and professional, and have all been with him for years. No turnover, which speaks volumes for the whole office.
Procedure: November 28, 2016 Review date: May 8, 2017 I had difficulty walking, hiking or have any normal activities. Dr. Yant started with a series of shots over a 6-month period, but with no success. Dr. Yant ordered an MRI and determined I had a tear of my Proper Collateral Ligament. He suggested a PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) procedure which would accelerate the healing of the tear. 50 days after the PRP procedure I feel no pain. This procedure is truly revolutionary in healing the body.
After trying other non-surgical options to get rid of my plantar fasciitis pain, Dr. Yant suggested PRP (platelet rich plasma) injections. After 2 months post-PRP treatment, my pain levels have been reduced by about 90%. I'm very pleased with the results!

After having foot surgery for plantar fasciitis, I was in constant pain. The pain was far worse than before the surgery. I should have done more research on the procedure and the doctor. Dr Yant took the time to listen and evaluate the issues I was having. After conservative treatments hadn't helped my pain, he did a stem cell injection followed by PRP injections. (Platelet rich plasma) These injections exceeded my expectations. With PT that includes ultra sound, I am almost pain free.
I have been going to Dr Yant for years and I always feel confident in his service....he always researches the problem and listens to you.
I went to many doctors and Dr. Yant finally figured out my problem and fixed it surgically. I am now walking better than I have in over 10 years.
