Dr. Wartell and everyone in his office are fantastic. My jaw pain has gone down from a 9 to a 1. Dr. Wartell is not satisfied and we are trying something new in addition to the current treatment. He wants me to be 100% and is working to get me the last bit. I highly recommend for TMJ treatment.
I would recommend Dr. Wartell’s practice to anyone. The staff is professional, helpful and friendly. After a year and a half of treatment, there is still a yearly follow up and access to them anytime. I am gratefully pain free.
Dr. Wartell was an amazing doctor with-in the first month of seeing him for my TMJ problem I was astonished with the results. His staff are all kind and welcoming from the very first time I called. they helped me when I had problems with my retainers and showed me tricks to help with my treatment. Overall if I were having anymore problems or if someone I know needs to a doctor for jaw pain I would definitely call them again. Thank you to all who helped and aided in my treatment.
Dr. Wardell has changed my life! For 50 years I have had severe jaw pain to the point of not being able to eat. After wearing the splint for a month the pain started to lessen. After 6 months I am pain free. Additionally, the repositioning of my jaw allowed for easier breathing and my hearing improved. The entire staff is caring and kind. I felt like they really coated about me.
Dr. Wartell and his staff are professional, very kind and extremely knowledgeable about TMJ problems. I felt supported the moment I first met the team at Jaw Pain & Sleep Apnea Center. After doing a cone beam CT imaging of my troublesome TMJ, Dr. Wartell took time in consultation with me and my husband, teaching us about the anatomy and function of that TMJ, what a normal one should look like and what mine actually looked like. I feel that I have finally found help-so glad I found this practice!

I had a problem with my jaw bone that doctors at urgent care could not diagnose. I searched all over Santa Fe and Albuquerque looking for someone to help me. Finally found Dr Wartell and he has helped me tremendously. I'm no longer in constant pain.
He is amazing I have had TMD for 20+years and Dr Wartell is helping me get the right treatment I would recommend him to anyone with TMJ! He takes you in his office and shows you your x-rays and goes over all of this with you!
Dr. Wartell listens carefully and is very thorough. Great staff. Everyone is extremely good at what they do. We greatly appreciate how Dr. Wartell and his experienced staff have helped our daughter from TMJ diagnosis to upkeep of her splint and regular follow-up.
