If I could rate Dr. Wartell and his staff a 10 I would. Dr. Wartell is very good at what he does. I started seeing him after prior dental work from another dentist. This unfortunate dental experience left me scared and unwilling to trust anyone. As a result, I saw every doctor in the book. Dr. Wartell and his staff have been amazing! I had an injury years ago that caused some painful alignment issues with my jaw. I can't believe I endured years of popping, clicking, and muscle soreness. Dr. Wartell did a thorough exam with a bunch of X-rays and reassured me that we could fix my problems. I was diagnosed with Menieres disease in 2018. With little hope for recovery, I almost gave up and gave in to the disease. Outstanding experience with Dr. Wartell and his whole team at the Jaw & Sleep Apnea Center in Santa Fe. Jaw stiffness, spasms, and discomfort are nearly gone, and so are the frequent headaches. The splint is incredibly effective, and he and his staff take a lot time in appointments to ensure treatment is working, inspect the orthotic, and make necessary adjustments. Dr. Wartell treated me for arthritis in the jaw joint. After six months of wearing the prescribed orthotic device as directed, I was pain free. The x-ray after one year showed marked healing in the affected bone. Dr. Wartell clearly explains treatment and expectations. All his staff are professional, courteous, and friendly.
