I was able to get an appointment in a quick timeframe even though another Dr in his practice is who I normally see, but she had no appointment openings. He was very thorough and listened to all of my concerns. He was willing to discuss and narrow down what might be causing the issues based on multiple factors including life events, hormonal changes, and physical concerns. I've seen multiple doctors over the past 13 years re. concern that I may have a hernia, and have been told that it may be this or that, but probably not a big deal. Sorry, but an obvious, visible, egg-sized bulge above my naval is a big deal to me. Dr Wilcox saw me as a follow-up to a 3am trip to the ER for dry heaves, hot flashes, profuse sweating, general weakness, stomach pain and growth in the size of the belly bulge. Dr. Wilcox is not my PCP, but I had to see him the other day for an issue as my doctor didn’t have an opening. His bed side manner is lacking in multiple ways. He seemed like he was bothered that I was there and totally dismissed the plan the the NP had come up with 10 minutes prior. It has been two days and he has yet to call in the meds he agreed that I needed. I hope he treats his patients better than he does those are not. I will not see him again.

Dr Wilcox is very good at treating my arthritis and back problems. I won't go to another doctor for it. He listens to my questions and always has time to answer. Even after Ive left office by patient portal reply. Very short wait time and staff is excellent, always very friendly and professional.
