Dr. Frederick has treated my surgery in a very professional manner and taken all precautions for a successful recovery!
Dr. Frederick is great... from consult to surgery to recovery he has been top notch.
May be a good doc, but is very inconsiderate. Took my elderly dad for a follow up appt. The appt was scheduled for 10:45. Finally saw the doc after 2:00 pm. He has his staff do the dirty work and tell you that he is behind. Started out one hour behind. . Ended up 2.5 hours behind. Sure felt like he thinks his time is more important. Do yourself a favor and find a doc that is considerate to his patients.
1st visit Dr Frederick showed me my injuries (Partial ACL tear, 2 lateral meniscus tears) on my MRI, sent me to physical therapy & explained what to expect. Follow-up 6 weeks - totally different experience! Waste of time! Waited 30minutes, Resident saw me 1st. Resident hadn't looked @ my Xrays /MRI & over extended my knee after I told him to stop extending it. Dr. Frederick came in & asked where I'd had my MRI "because it wasn't very clear". Told me he didn't see the tears. ?? Won't go back!
Dr. Frederick along with the rest of the staff at Rothman are exceptional. The most respectful people you'll ever meet. They are truly so professional, knowledgeable and experienced. I went there for a second opinion after tearing my ACL and knew instantly it was the right choice. Greatest place around and my surgery and recovery has been incredible all thanks to the Rothman. You won't find a better doctor anywhere.
I saw Dr Frederick the day after my knee injury. He was very warm and personal. I could tell he really cared about me and I wasn't just another number. Pre and post operatively he kept me informed, answered all my questions and concerns, as well as followed up with me. You can barely tell I had surger. I wouldn't be back to running if it weren't for Rothman Institute.
2 hour office wait. Doctor does not take time to answer questions. Very rushed. Not prepared to review MRI. Left in middle of appointment . took 15 min to return.
He is very knowledgable and will explain throughly about your injury and what the next step is. He is very compassionate and will make you feel comfortable with each part of your recovery.
From first encounter I was immediately impressed with his very competent demeaner which was reassuring and instilled trust and confidence. All questions and concerns were completely answered. Dr. Frederick is a consummate professional and I would recommend him to family and friends without hesitation
