Unfortunately, I had a similar experience to previous reviewers. Dr. Sandmeier was dismissive, and I left my appointment feeling rushed and unheard. The examination felt minimal, and no meaningful tests were performed to assess my injury. There were no substantive questions about my pain, mobility limitations, or how my symptoms have progressed. I don’t usually write reviews, but I want to recognize Dr. Sandmeier and his team for their excellent care. From start to finish, everyone I met—the front desk staff, medical assistant, and PA Michael Cunningham—was professional, kind, and informative. Michael explained each step of the exam clearly, which I found very reassuring. Dr. Sandmeier took his time, listened carefully, and made me feel safe and understood. I tore 3 of the 4 rotator cuff muscles one completely through and tore the tendon in my left shoulder. After the first surgeon telling me that because of the location of the tair that if they did surgery there was a greater chance of doing more damage to my shoulder then what was there so chose not to do surgery. 18 months later adjusting the mirror I was down again.
