In my experience, Robert Pearlman refused to continue previously established Ajovy and neurological treatment, which I believe wasted my time and money and delayed appropriate care. I also believe information in my medical records was documented inaccurately and that serious misconduct within the institution was ignored rather than addressed. I had an appt with Dr. Pearlman at UAB back in Oct and when I say he was the nicest doctor I have ever met. This was my first time seeing a neurologist for my headaches. I had to wait about 8 months to be seen, which is normal for UAB, but the wait was well worth it. He thoroughly listened; he asked questions and gave suggestions. I wish I was able to see him years ago when I first started at UAB seeing physicians but nonetheless I was happy and satisfied with my appt. I have not experienced a doctor on this level in a long long time!!!! Professionalism Patient Thorough Timely… Geesh. I honestly thought that such was far fetch nowadays. This doctor impressed me beyond description. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Dr. Pearlman the GOAT! #Neuroscience #UAB #BhamAlabama
Dr.Pearlman truly cares for is patients. He is a HEADACHE specialist. He doesn’t treat other neurological conditions, which is not an issue for me. I do see others upset about this. He’s helped get me from a migraine almost everyday to 6 or 7 a month. I’ve had a wonderful experience with him and his staff. He’s a very nice man. He doesn’t talk much and is very quick. Make sure you take a notebook with you so you can remember what you are told to try.
