He was our pediatrician for 2 decades. He always goes out of his way to help and reassure. Open minded, very knowledgeable, explains things clearly, kids just loved his chill personality. Society should have more medical professionals like he is. I always felt my children were safe and well cared for under his care.
I visited this office once and the service was good and friendly. This is where the good ends. I received a bill for the services after being told the flu shot was covered for my daughter. Even though I was not a patient myself I was told I could get the flu shot as well and my insurance would still cover it. I not only received a bill for the flu shot I was also billed for an office visit that I did not have. My insurance was billed $148 dollars for a office visit and $37 for the flu shot. We’ve been with Dr Bjork for the past 5 years and can’t say enough good things about him! Excellent physician, great with kids, and very supportive of parents in raising healthy children. Highly, highly recommend.
He did not give antibiotics when my son had 6 days of fever and could hardly sit up! After getting oral antibiotics from another doctor, my son's coughing was greatly reduced but was sent to hospital because of scripps' misjudgent, which resulted in his miserable time in Rady where he was mistreated to life support! Dr Bjork later gave antibiotics during my son's steady recovery(no fever) after mistakenly comparing the newest X-ray to the first one, which resulted in high heart rate and wheez!
