I believe by working with me, by listening to me, Dr. Jamieson saved my life. I’ve now been seeing him for 20 years and don’t want to see anyone else! Now to figure out how to make an appointment since he moved!!!
I can not comprehend how he is still in this career. He would throw medications at me, if they didn’t work would take both out cold turkey and double a different medication. Seemed very careless of any personal issues, i would call and say i feel worse and he would add more medications with no explanation of the medicine. My biggest problem is he has removed himself from my health portal and i have tried 3 different phone numbers and offices and haven’t heard back in weeks, i am no longer able to get my bipolar medication, d... read more
Have been treated by Dr Jamieson for 36 years. Would not consider going to anyone else. He is top notch!!!! Highly knowledgeable and up to date on medications and treatments. Lovely person.
Always caring, concerned about my feelings. Gives positive advice and does follow up on his patients. Has a very caring presence, when he is seeing you you are his only focus . I've been seeing him for a long time and he has helped immensely. Definitely recommend him. He does telehealth and in office appointments.
Dr. Jamieson has been my psychiatrist for 20 years now. He saved my life and continues to help me at every turn. I’ll forever be grateful to be his patient. He is up to date with medications which provides me with the most advantageous care. I can’t say enough about this doctor!
Business response:
Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We will be sure to pass your comments along to Dr. Jamieson.
This doctor is purely medication management. We takes patients off of medication cold turkey that they should tapered off of. You cannot actually speak to him on the phone, only his staff. If a patient actually has a serious issue, he will refuse to continue their treatment.
Business response:
We are sorry to hear of this experience at Sterling Primary Care and would like to look into this further. Please call our office and ask for practice manager Cait Carnahan, so that we can get further information to address the situation.
Dr. Jamieson took me off of 30 mg./day of Paxil, cold turkey, and prescribed two other meds to replace it. I became very ill with flu-like symptoms to the point I couldn't work. I visited his office a couple more times, telling him how sick I was. He just increased the mg. on the replacement meds. I continued to get sicker and sicker, so I saw my PCP in the same office. I couldn't even sit up. I had to lie down on the examination table. My PCP called Dr. Jamieson into the room, and all he did was put me back on Paxil, but th... read more

Dr. Jamieson has been my doctor for many years. He is always understanding and explains treatments completely. Great personality and a joy to visit.
I was a long term patient of Dr. Jamieson. After I complained about the way I was treated by his scheduling office, his response was to fire me as a patient. So, if you are looking for a psychiatrist who will be there for you when the going gets tough, he is definitely not your man. He also does no talk therapy. It’s all just medication management, which he does an average job of. Very much a below average physician and practice.
