The wait time was substantially shorter than normal. Dr. Fried was excellent as usual. He listens and responds genuinely to any issue that I have. He is a role model for young doctors because he relies on his clinical abilities in lieu of ordering expensive tests that are not needed. I am very sad he is retiring but he definitely deserves it.

Dr Fried has been my primary care doctor for over 20 years. He stays up to date on the newest approaches to health conditions and practices with an integrated medical view so as to treat the whole person. Dr. Fried is interested in helping people attain and maintain wellness !
My experience with Dr. Fried is always great.I have one suggestion- when you have a physical it would help if your blood test results so that you can go over that with the doctor at the time of the physical. Your results are on the portal but then if you have a question you normally talk to the CNA and I would rather talk to my doctor. You guys use to do this and then you stopped and my mother I law's doctor does that. She will have her blood work drawn on Monday and then her appointment like on the following Thursday so he ... read more

Dr Fried is the Best doctor I've ever had. Very smart, up to date on medical issues, & most importantly compassionate! Also the staff is always friendly and professional!
The staff at Oak Ridge Eagle Physicians are very friendly and thorough. I love Dr. Robert Fried. He has been my doctor since I moved here 15 years ago and I have no complaints. He has always, including today, explained things to me in detail as I request. I will miss him as he retires. He was also very loving and compassionate and patient with my elderly mother who passed away almost two years ago. Thank you everyone at Eagle Physicians in Oak Ridge.
Dr. Fried is very knowledgeable and well versed in all medical matters related to my health issues. He is very professional, personable,courteous and understanding. He has a great bedside manner. He allows time to answer any health questions & explains the reason for any change in medication and/or treatment plans. I am most pleased with his manner of treatment. I am sorry to see him leave the practice in Oak Ridge, but I do understand his reasons for doing so. He will surely be missed.
