Dr. McMullen has without a doubt changed my life. He never gave up, pursuing different treatments for my depression when medications were not working for me. He uses every detail to choose the specific treatment plan, Ultimately, we used the TMS machine- which at the time was very rare- and it was amazing. He is always on the cutting edge. I am enormously grateful for his patience and perseverance.
I've been seeing Dr. McMullen for 20 years and he is excellent. He keeps up with the latest information about medications which is so important, and he always is very clear as he explains why something will be helpful. And he is easy to talk to. I'm very happy I was referred to him when my problems surfaced those years ago.
Dr. McMullen, who has been treating me for 13 years, is the only doctor who has been able to control my depression. I especially value his willingness to speak to me by phone on a same-day basis when I am having difficulties with medicines or symptoms. His willingness to treat me as an equal during our meetings in his office is also something that I prize.
Dr. McMullen is the best physician I have ever had. He has been very dedicated to finding just the right medications and cutting edge treatments to successfully treat my bi-polar, severe depression and anxiety disorders. He has turned my life from a living nightmare to one of much more happiness and functionality. I have been seeing Dr McMullen since 1983 for manic depression. He really has saved my life. The fact that he has kept me out of the hospital so long [except for ECT treatment after I had become drug resistant for a very long time which was very successful] is one of the reasons I keep on seeing him.
