I have been a patient of Dr. Shaffer for about fifthteen years. He is a fantastic doctor. His is very caring for his patients. He takes time to listen to you and explain what he advises to do to take care of you. He stays up to date on new treatments. I am very thankful that he is my gastroenterologist. His nurse, Lisa Peoples is great also. I highly recommend them. All the staff are nice at the Pilot Place office.
Very knowledgable and concerned. Didnt just brush me off when I told him what I was experiencing. Helped me get answers and that means the world. While one might think that is a given with a doctor, that has not been my experience in the past.
This is the best doc for almost anything! I would be dead with out him. I have an eating disorder an he brought me back from almost death! I’m so greatful for this Man! So so sweet,great Christian,always happy,couldn’t ask for a better G.I doc.

Excellent doctor that definitely listens to his patients and makes sure you understand everything he tells you. Has the greatest compassion for his patients! Best gastro doctor ever!!!
Dr Shaffer listened to my questions and helped my understand how the medication I was taking effected my GI system in a way I could understand. He had a great bedside manner and helped my family understand what was going on.
He has been my MD for years. Awesome staff and great guy!
