We are well known for our beautiful balayage & hair painting techniques, we offer perms, and various hair cutting methods - dry hair cutting, curls, extensions and corrections. We care about the overall quality and health of our client's hair, we carry and exclusively use Kerastase hair products.

Mathew, Mathew, Mathew!!!! – I don't think I've ever enjoyed getting my haircut as much as I did at Roar. Mathew did my hair and I want to pack him in my suitcase and take him with me when I move to California--and not just b/c he is a genius and gave me the best hair cut I've ever received. He has such an awesome, fun personality. We chatted the whole time. I think at one point I was laughing so hard I started to cry. MATHEW at ROAR!!! he is a superstar. you will not be disappointed. he is very talented.
Love this salon – I was very happy with this salon and my stylist. Honestly it was the best haircut of my life, and worth every penny! Emily was fantastic, she did exactly what I wanted. I am so happy that I found her and this salon. I promise you won't be disappointed with this salon, and excellent stylist like Emily.
Matthew & Helene are AMAZING!!!! – I moved to Austin about 2 years ago and have since been on a constant search for a regular place to have my hair done. A+ for MATTHEW! – This was my first visit to ROAR and today i had my hair blown out by MATTHEW REDDEN- a newer stylist. Seriously-this guy is FANTASTIC! For starters, the shampoo was amazing-slow and relaxing and enough to make me want to fall asleep. Throughout the service, he held great conversation, which can be hard at 9 in the morning! Roar Salon...The best in Austin..If not the US! – I am 41 years old and have been to every "upscale" salon in Austin over the past 20 years. I have also traveled to other cities, such as LA and New York, specifically to visit the well known, upscale salons in those cities as well. ROAR Salon – ROAR salon is "hands down" the best place to get your hair done in Austin. Rory, salon owner, is the best colorist I have ever met. He is so talented and his techniques on coloring hair is a work of art. Kevin, cuts my hair and is very precise and gives me the best cuts. I get compliments on my hair all the time. Rory is also a FABULOUS person and I am so blessed to know him.
The natural look – Not only is ROAR the most fabulous place in Austin to get your hair did, Rory, salon owner, is quite possibly the most talented colorist around. simply the best. – If Tony the Tiger left his job at Kellogg's, no doubt he would want to be the voice for this place because it has GRRRRRREEEEAAAAAAAAAT screaming left and right. I went there for the first time on Kevin's first day. And what a winner! Kevin Cabiya & Helene Clay are AWESOME!!!!!! – I went to Roar salon for the first time about 2 weeks ago.....and I LOVED IT!!!! Kevin Cabiya gave me the most awesome hair cut....and created layers that I didn't think would look great on me.,..but they do!
