Dr Fantastic. BUT Helpers cranky. Needle people are seemingly sick of people with needle phobias.They do not speak kindly with nice bedside voice and comfort smile. Needle people threaten that if you do not do it right the only choice is no anesthesia for procedure go home ( note: this does not help.calm patientto be confrontationally callous in your bedside manner.) Dr. Selinger has been very helpful and informative, and she clearly cares about the wellbeing of her patients. I have been seeing her since 2021 for my UC and she, as well as her team, has always been quick to respond whenever I send a message.
I’ve had a few gastrointestinal issues over the years and dr. Selinger addressed them all successfully. On my last visit we went over my upper endoscopy results and medication. As usual she took her time explaining things to me. She is a caring, compassionate and extremely intelligent doctor who still cares about people after all these years. She’s very successful and getting an appointment with her on shortnotice if you’re a new patientis hard but definitely worth the wait. She is that good.
As an ER patient, you don’t know who you will get. I was very grateful to know she is from WAGastro group. The last doc I had there was also excellent.
Dr. Selinger’s instructions in My Chart following hospitalization discharge indicated it is okay to resume nsaid's including nsaid in Excedrin , while discharge Dr. Boswell 9//27/23 orders specifically indicated they should be discontinued due to ongoing stomach pain.
Truly one of the most incredible GI providers in the area. I am proud to say that she has been my care provider for over two years now. Dr. Selinger is immensely thorough in her care and I always feel confident that I have all of the information I need to make an informed decision about my own health. I've been seeing Dr Selinger for years for both maintenance and procedures of IBD. She's friendly, caring and thorough. I've been to both Bellevue and Issaquah clinic's and have had no complaints (Yes the odd delay, but that happens everywhere) Yes I would recommenced her and her team.
Dr. Selinger, nurses, and the anesthesiologist were all amazing. They were kind, patient, and I felt very well cared for. I felt comfortable and welcomed.
