I wish I had read the recent reviews as I experienced disappointment in my pedi. As soon as 'C' heard I wanted the 2nd lowest price pedi vs 2nd highest, her service level dropped and then again when I said I didn't want the "cheese grater" but instead prefer the grit pad. She put very little effort into removing old skin. The massage, scrub, hot stones, hot towels were nice but brief. I’m torn, they are quick and do good acrylic nails but there prices are outrageous. I got a fill and French tips, wasn’t even in the chair for 30 minutes and was charged $70, $80 because I tipped. I understand they are a bit higher quality than some other places so I went in ready to pay a bit extra. I was under the impression that a fill could be $10-30, so I went in ready to pay at least $40. So I was shocked when the person at the front desk told me the total. I’ve been going to this nail salon for years! Loved them, until recently. The last 2 times I’ve been in I’ve had bad experiences. Today I went in to get a pedi and mani for a wedding today. I told my nail tech for my pedi that I didn’t want gel, told her 5 times. Even told her it’s just for a wedding so do not want gel. The color was inly to match the dress. I went to Road 68 nails to get a gel french tip mani and pedi for a special occasion a few weeks ago. The guy doing my nails seemed rough and rushed, but the finished result was borderline ok. The both people applied the gel to both my fingers and toes made it look like I already had a significant amount of grow out but I dealt with it and the French tip part looked ok (just be sure to specify if you want clear or light pink as the top polish) I went back to have the gel removed from my toes and to get a regular polish (not ... read more
