I used to rent from Julie and she was always straight forward and direct. I liked living in her property at 1517 Texas St. If i ever had a maintenance issue her staff was right there on it to resolve whatever issue i had. Excellent landlord would definitely rent from her again given the opportunity.
Nice folk but plz plz plz let us pay through a web portal!! Physically driving to Fred Meyer for the money order and then out to you is a huge chore that's tough to work into my schedule. Y'know, a web portal will get like 85% of your owed funds day of, no need for constantly unlocking the office whenever a payee shows up?
I rented properties from 07-2017 I once requested carpet replacement due to my child having asthma and she put faux wood floors in the whole place before we moved in which helped a lot. Julie can be very lax and a very understanding and she does go out of her way to help people. Julie’s actions and her limitations has a lot to do with which owners she is dealing with and which properties she is dealing with remember, she is just the middleman. What a breath of fresh to have great property managers in Bellingham. Our landlords retired and moved out of the country, leaving us with RJR. Julie is incredibly kind and good at her job. She communicates extremely well and is a pleasure to deal with.
Chester Shaw of RJR Real Estate hired me to replace a toilet on a rental near Alabama St. The new toilet was properly installed and the old one left behind (as discussed). Later I received a phone call from Ol' Chester saying that the property owner wasn't going to pay him until I disposed of the toilet, and therefore Chester would not be able to pay me until I did so. I told him that this was not part of the original agreement, he then apologized and said that it would be the only way to get the money. Ryan Hansen
