A "hair=mazing" experience! – I live in Chelsea and often pass by many businesses, but there was something warm and homey about this salon. Angelo and his staff make everyone comfortable. They are relaxed in attitude, yet refined. I went in asking for a very specific color process and he brought me the results I was looking for. Having a good hairdresser is like having a good boyfriend, if the salon were a man...I'd definately date it!
Nice people, Average salon - – Made appointment with Angelo Rizza himself because he specializes in color. The ambiance of the salon is very warm and inviting and you feel very comfortable walking in. Angelo has good energy and makes you feel like a friend. I was charged almost $200 for a cut and color, which is normal I would say in NYC, but I felt the price didn't warrant what I received. The cut was very average , no shape at all. High-end results without the pretentious atmosphere – I never thought it would be possible to find a salon that delivers high-end results without the stuffy, pretentious atmosphere until I came to Rizza. Angelo does amazing work and never fails to exceed my expectations everytime I leave the salon. Perfect Blond – I have been looking for the perfect blond for a long time. I wanted a lovely, Swedish blond something that was ultra light but looked natural. I have been to nine stylists in the last four years and they all promised me the blond I wanted- but none delivered. I always ended up too dark or with golden hued head . Best Salon in town! – Never before have I had a hairstylist that I would do anything to keep seeing. Until now, that is. Angelo is a phenomenal hairstylist/colourist and not only that! His new salon is tranquil, professional, and down to earth. Words aren't enough to describe how amazing this salon is. You'll just have to go and see for yourself.
