Fabulous Haircut that You always wanted! – I've followed Jim Gaylord from West Village to Hell's Kitchen, and now in wonderful Chelsea over the years. He is absolutely a fabulous stylist, bar none. The best cut and color that I have ever had – This review is specifically of Jim Gaylord, and in a more general sense about the Rizza Salon. Jim is the best colorist/stylist that I have ever been to and I followed him down from Hell's Kitchen when he switched salons earlier in the year. Great stylists, no attitude – Rizza is such a pleasure. It's almost like getting your hair cut in your own living room, er, if your living room came with really good hair stylists. Top notch service in an attitude-free place, with reasonable prices to match. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Jim Gaylord is the best! – JIm Gaylord has changed my hair and my life. After years of obsessing about whether to color my hair, he found an absolutely perfect shade. I get complements all the time. He also cuts my curly hair just as well as the "curly hair specialist" I went to before. Plus, Jim is just a great guy. I am not a salon person, but I look forward to my visits. go see mala – All my friends have been going to see mala for years and have followed her from robert kree to serge normant and now at this salon..she is the most consistant, creative and humble stylist in new york..her work is orignal and i always walk out getting exactly what i wanted. the salon is cute and friendly but the bathroom could use a little TLC. just a little hint to the owner.....

Simply the BEST! – I'll make this short and sweet...the best hair cut I've gotten in the city. The owner of the salon gave me a high end haircut without the high end price. My boyfriend was so impressed, he also got his hair cut by Angelo. He's passing the word onto his wall street buddies, who can afford any salon in the city...Rizza Salon is the place for an EXCELLENT hair cut and at a reasonable price, especially with the economy being so poor, it's a steal!
