The Best Anniversary Ever – My husband and I stayed there this past weekend and have never had better service than the Riviera Resort and Spa. First off checking in was a breeze and the concierge was nothing but friendly. Dramatically exceeded expectations – I had a great experience. The check-in was fast and I was upgraded to a suite. Service was quick and friendly everywhere -- especially by the Deep End pool, which is tucked in the back of the property and is less crowded than the main pool. The rooms were clean and the decor is terrific. I was scared by all the reviews of loud partying but there's nothing to worry about. The music didn't go all night. Cool lobby bar! Great pool area. Beautiful spa! – All different sitting and lounging areas at the pool for day and night! Cabana's, circle seating around fire pit. Restaurant half outdoors overlooking pool. Great feeling throughout.

$70MM renovation means this place is now popular and sparkly – This resort was closed for a while, and was renovated to the tune of $70MM. I've never seen it before, but the investment really shows. The place is all glitzed up and the big investments are everywhere. Everything sparkles, mirrors, shines and full of color, and there are bold statements in design from wall papers to light fixtures.
