So, my fiancee needed to go to Immediate Care and the closest one to Manteno is the Riverside FastCare in the Walmart in Bourbonnais. So, on Riverside’s website, nothing states that people with flu aren’t seen with abdominal pain and that’s because of the diarrhea she has that. People with flu are seen according to the website & the “menu” board at Walmart. I took screenshots to prove this. Turned away and told to go some place else. Ridiculous. I’m a patient on the rehabilitation floor and I can truly say the staff has been stupendous. They’re friendly, accommodating, and encouraging. I would’ve given this experience 5 stars however, there is much to desire about the hospital’s food. Although hospital food is notoriously bad, Riverside’s food is on a whole new level of bad. Like how can you mess up soup? I’ve been so wasteful with their food that I feel slightly guilty. They also have horrible internet service, it’s super slow.
I went to the ER over the weekend. They have made alot of great logistic changes to make the process quicker. Thank you!!
I just had tonsillectomy surgery performed by Dr. Krause less than two weeks ago, and my pre & post care at the outpatient center was excellent! They were very accommodating in letting my siblings and husband visit with me before I went back, listened to my concerns about receiving anesthesia, and even had me laughing prior to surgery. When I woke up they were immediately addressing my reactions to anesthesia, and were calming me down and even remembered me from my prior surgery. Went to the Manhattan Illinois location on 2 separate occasions several months apart and due to staffing issues, they were turning patients away. This is ridiculous and will never go there again. Would highly suggest calling ahead to avoid wasting your time.
Still waiting to get physical therapy at the atrium finished on my elbow. Second time they told me they were going to contact me to schedule & no call for a month now. Last time I had to start the process all over again. My Dr gave me another order for myofasial release therapy for my shoulder last week. I called to schedule & as soon as I gave my name I heard someone in the background & suddenly the lady was too busy to set something up & took my phone #. Still no call back.
