Botched gallbladder surgery from a Doctor that they dismissed and he is gone. A simple 20 minute surgery turned into 2 1/2 and was airlifted to another hospital with double lung pneumonia, ARDS and on a ventilator for 35 days. Almost died! Stayed in ICU for 35 days before the put a trach in from my lungs freezing up! I would not recommend this hospital to anyone and would not take a flea to this place!

I would like to extend heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to the ER Staff at Riverland Medical Center. My son received an injury today and the nurses kept myself and him calm through the entire process. I truly appreciate them treating my child as one of their grandchildren. The entire staff was simply amazing and I cannot thank you all enough for immediate service and the proper care of my child.
On emergency room services they were quick on ct scan an pain medication I passed 100 to 300 kidney stones in about 9 hours an referred me to a specialist
Thanks to the ER staff for the care we received for daddy. You cannot beat home town health care from hometown folks.
I was just released today and have to say the stay was great the nurses were very attentive in both the er and the floor. The er Dr was wonderful also he explained everything very thoroughly. The only reason I didn't give a 5 is the dr on the floor that discharged me was very short and not very informative at all. He could use better bed side manner But overall it was a great experience.
