Visiting from Sacramento, California... We have river boats there too, but the Discovery III was much cleaner than ours. The tour was awesome, worth the trip. Free donuts and then salmon on crackers later *yum* The guide was super entertaining! I only wish we could've spent more time at the Native Village and talking with the lady from Trail Breaker Kennels. All in all a great time!

Great trip and a lot was learned about Alaska and the folks around here. It is a wonderful day and time is well spent on this experience. Coffee, water snacks all provided. Beer if you want it, it is not free. Great team on the riverboat.

Beyond awesome! Educational, fun, breathtaking views, and delicious (they offer a salmon snack aboard that is sooo good!). Lunch back at the dock served family style w/homemade stew is some of the best I've ever had (and my Grandma's southern:-) I highly recommend this most amazing Alaska excursion. ���
Something to do in Fairbanks - that's about it. Better off skipping Fairbanks
