What a fantastic day! It's like Disney world except you get a short hike in the wilderness, a ride on a beautiful river and lots of facts about the wonders of native Alaska! Best day yet!
I went on this cruise 15+ years ago and again two weeks ago with my wife who was born and raised in Fairbanks. We both loved it, both times! Don't miss it.
The cruise was short, but the captain provided a great narration about the areas history and culture, stopped for a sled dog demonstration...the dogs were amazing to watch. A visit to a replica of an Asabaskian Indian fishing village where natives discussed fishing, trapping, and other cultural aspects of their heritage. It was very informative.
