Went to the beaver creek flotilla. River sports brought us our kayak and picked up. Made the trip easy. Thank you so much for doing this.
Whoever runs the rentals at Meads Quarry needs to change their policy on returns when you are told to leave the water after only 10 minutes in due to thunder. I understand it's for safety reasons, but to not refund two rentals after just getting in the water is ridiculous. Side note, the staff renting the kayaks are very helpful.
Last time I shop here unfortunately. I've shopped here for years and spent thousands of dollars. I recently purchased some boots on sale. I wasn't informed of sale items being final by neither the salesman or at checkout. I hiked in them a few weeks later and after about 3 miles one of the boots metal eyelets was digging into my ankle. I tried to return them a few days later and they looked like new but manager refused to do anything for me. I told him I was interested in buying a better boot and he still refused to take the... read more
