I moved here last Dec. I have several issues preventing me from leaving a 5-star review. The #1 reason is ROACHES! My building has roaches in the hallways and other residents in other buildings have said they’ve also found them in their apartments/hallways of the building. This is indication of an INFESTATION! I love my apartment!! It’s cute and cozy, with a separate area for a small office, a fireplace, and a huge dining room where I love to entertain! I have my own in-unit washer and dryer, which is a huge plus in apartment living. My apartment is unique - it isn’t a cookie-cutter open floor plan that is so prevalent these days. Living at Den Rock has been nothing but disappointing. Upon move in (in a newly renovated apartment), we had to place upwards of 10 work orders within the first two weeks. Orders ranged from our front door lock being installed upside down to there being a metal fan with sharp blades uncovered in the common entryway. There have been additional safety concerns here as well, such as our entire building smelling like marijuana on a daily basis, sometimes as early as 8 AM on weekdays. I've been living here for over a year now, and it's truly the best place I've ever lived. The management team is friendly, helpful, and always quick to respond when something needs to be fixed. The location is also fantastic—there are three gas stations right outside the complex, a plaza directly across the street, and the highway is just a minute away. The BMV is also conveniently nearby. Plus, the apartment comes with everything you need. Honestly, what more could you ask for?
